My time in the Dream Group, with Christina Becker as our leader, was a cozy, intimate gathering within which inner dreams and daily lives unfurled and intermingled. This was very exciting. Dreams are messages from the deepest part of ourselves. Dreams can give us important messages about what is going on in our life, and where we are going. They can give us glimpses into the stuck places in our lives, and to how to solve problems.

NEW ONLINE COURSE STARTING APRIL 1, 2018

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

In this 6-module course, you will receive a new video lesson every 2 weeks. Each lesson will contain valuable information about dreams, how they speak to us and how we can learn to understand their language.

You can learn at your own pace and the course is available to you for a lifetime. Return to the material time an time again to gain deeper and deep access to the mysteries of your soul.

In Module 1, you will be introduced to Carl Gustav Jung, pre-imminent psychiatrist of the early 20th century and founder of analytical psychology. You will learn the science of dreaming, why we dream and what happens during sleep. You also learn various mythological and psychoanalytic perspectives on the meaning of dreams.

In Module 2, you will learn the language of dreams, the symbol and how to think symbolically. You will see the dream language in action through dreams of people and what they mean.

Then, we will have our 1st live practice call where we will work with a dream and everyone will have an opportunity to practice what we have learned so far. Don’t worry if you can’t make it. The call will be recorded and posted on the course page with 24 hours. Transcript will be posted within one week.

In Module 3, you begin to take apart the dream into its component parts and how each component contributes to the meaning of the dream. You will learn how to interpret the meaning of where the dream takes place (the setting), where to find the soul’s symbols, how to work with associations, and to track the unfolding drama in the dream’s narrative.

In Module 4, you dive deeper the various ways to with your dreams through various exercise, dialogues with the dream characters, active imagination and other exercises.

Then, we will have our 2nd live practice call where we will work with a dream and everyone will have an opportunity to practice what you have learned. The call will be recorded and posted on the course page with 24 hours. During the 2nd live call, you will also have the option of working with a partner or others in a separate session where you can work with others in smaller groups.

In Module 5, you will learn the common features of dreams. What do recurring images, and nightmares means and how can we use this information to live happier lives.

Then we will have our 3rd live practice session where we will work with a dream and everyone will have an opportunity to practice. The call will be recorded and posted on the course page with 24 hours. You will again have the option of working with a partner or others in a separate session where you can work with others in smaller groups.

In Module 6, our final time together we will bring it all together. In this lesson, you will learn tips on how to remember your dreams, how to work with your nightmares, and further exercises for working with your dreams

I am Christina Becker, a certified Jungian Analyst. I will be your host and guide through this adventure into the mysterious world of the soul through dreams. I am a Diplomate Jungian Analyst. I received my diploma from the C.G. Jung Institute in Zurich, Switzerland. I am a registered psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, senior training analyst with the Inter-Regional Society of Jungian Analysts.

For close to 20 years of private practice, I have worked with clients to discover the messages of their dreams. I have led dream workshops and dream groups. I am excited and delighted to bring all that experience into this course. My aim is to create a practical and hands on experience which will give you the skills and tools to discover your own messages.

1. When does the course start?

The course will start on April 1, 2018 and lessons will be released every week or two. Approximately in week 3, there will be a live conference call where students will be able to ask questions and to work with a dream with me. There will be two more practice calls.

2. How long do I have access to the course?

You have lifetime access to the course and across devices. You can return to the course time and time again to listen to lessons or to recordings of the calls.

3. What happens if I am unhappy with the course?

Don’t worry. If you aren’t enjoying the course or if you don’t feel that it is meeting your needs, then please contact me before April 15, 2018, and I will happily refund your money.
